Isaiah 26:3 means so much more than peace when I’m afraid, although that is monumental. Pick any sin. How about pride? Jealousy? Hate? When I’m experiencing any of those, I am profoundly not at peace. When, in place of any of those, I turn my gaze back to him, peace is mine.
